THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE

I Corinthians 13

If I speak in the tongue of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and al knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always perseveres. Continue reading

There are good things and bad things in our past that we cannot change.  All of us have some regrets and have experienced disappointments.  Things, times, and people just change.  Many times we fear change but we should not because with it can come great blessings that we have not yet looked upon when we trust Jesus.  Continue reading

I would like to encourage you with a powerful Word from the Bible today. Psalms 119:89 says, “Forever O Lord thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations. Thou hast established the earth and it abideth”. A close look at this passage of scripture reveals to us that God’s Word is firmly fixed and stands sure without end. What God has said is unshakable by any act of man. Also, we can be assured and confident from this passage that He is faithful unto all generations. According to His Word then, we can be confident that we are included and entitled to stand on and trust in its power to work for us today.
